Re:amaze bills every team member. Reponse is free

Re:amaze is a complete helpdesk, multi-brand and multi-platform, with SMS and voice on the higher plans. Reponse gives Shopify stores the helpdesk, unlimited human live chat and unlimited seats free forever, with the Ambassador agent that sells, All-in at $99 a month.

Why leave Re:amaze?

Helpdesk and human chat free forever, AI agents optional.

Free-forever helpdesk

Tickets, shared inbox, unlimited human live chat, reviews, loyalty and referrals at $0 forever, no credit card and no trial to expire.

Unlimited seats

On Re:amaze, every team member adds $29 to $69 a month. On Reponse, team size does not change the bill.

AI on a monthly plan, not per resolution

All the AI agents come with All-in: $99 a month with 2,000 AI conversations included, then $0.05 each, with no $0.85 resolutions beyond an allowance.

Live Shopify catalog and orders

The Ambassador agent advises from the live Shopify catalog and builds the cart before Shopify checkout; the Support agent drafts replies with the customer's real orders, for your team to send.

With Re:amaze

In Re:amaze, the team sees the message in its original language and clicks "Translate" to translate it on demand; translation applies only to incoming messages, and replies sent by staff are not automatically translated for the customer. The AI Agent (beta) is included in the Basic, Pro and Plus plans with 5, 10 or 20 resolutions per user per month, then $0.85 per additional resolution.

With Reponse

In the shared inbox, your team answers for free. If the Ambassador agent is switched on, it replies in English and French, advises from the Shopify catalog and builds the cart before handing off to Shopify checkout.

Re:amaze Basic

$29/ team member / month, Basic plan

Source: reamaze.com/pricing, checked September 2026

Priced per seat: $29 per team member per month on Basic, $49 on Pro, $69 on Plus, so the bill grows with the number of agents.
A flat-rate alternative exists: the Starter plan is $59 per month for unlimited team members, capped at 500 responded conversations per month.
AI resolutions are metered on top of the seat price: 5 included per month per user on Basic, 10 on Pro, 20 on Plus, then $0.85 per additional resolution.
Annual billing saves 10% on the per-seat plans, and there is a 14-day free trial but no permanently free plan.

FAQ

Reponse or Re:amaze, in plain terms

Re:amaze charges per team member. How does Reponse price the same work?

Re:amaze bills per seat ($29 per team member per month on Basic, $49 on Pro, $69 on Plus) and meters AI resolutions on top, with 5, 10 or 20 included per month per user depending on the plan and $0.85 per additional resolution. Reponse publishes two tiers: Reponse, free forever (helpdesk, human live chat, unlimited seats, no AI agent), and All-in at $99 a month for all the AI agents. The price follows your choice to switch on AI, not the size of the support team: a solo founder pays nothing while answering alone, and the arithmetic stays in Reponse's favour as soon as several people need access.

Can I bring my Re:amaze conversation history and FAQ articles into Reponse?

Re:amaze lets you export contacts, conversations and help center articles as CSV, and it exposes a conversations API, so your history stays retrievable before you leave. Reponse has no one-click Re:amaze importer: during onboarding it builds its knowledge from your Shopify catalog and your store's public content, then works from real order data. The practical route is to keep your Re:amaze export as the archive and start Reponse on new conversations, rather than trying to replay years of tickets into a different data model.

Which parts of a Re:amaze setup does Reponse not replace?

Voice and SMS, first of all: Re:amaze carries SMS, VoIP calls, video calls and in-chat screensharing, with SMS and voice available from the Pro plan.

Reponse covers the store chat widget with human handover, and has no inbound email, phone or SMS channel. Re:amaze also offers multibrand from Pro, so several support sites share one account, which is worth checking against your setup before you move.

Who should stay on Re:amaze, and who is Reponse a better fit for?

Re:amaze is the better choice for a support team spread across commerce platforms, since it integrates with Shopify, BigCommerce, WordPress and Stripe, and for teams that want classic helpdesk depth: staff shifts and vacations, customizable roles, satisfaction ratings and department groups, all on the Plus plan. Reponse is Shopify-first and trades that breadth for depth inside one store: the agent reads the live catalog and the customer's real orders, builds the cart, hands off to a human in the same conversation, and the same customer data feeds reviews, loyalty and referrals. If your support spans several commerce platforms or needs a phone line, stay on Re:amaze; if everything runs on Shopify and you want support, selling and retention on one dataset, Reponse is the closer fit.
